Description
This team water package is the Sagan Life AquaBrick water purification system, packaged as an emergency drinking water kit. You get two stackable 3-gallon AquaBrick containers, a DuraFlo purification filter, a hand pump, tubing and a spigot. Fill a container from a creek, a rain barrel or your pool, pump, and pour clean water.
Why the AquaBrick Water Purification System
Chris built our water line around one worry: families who buy a filter that doesn’t stop viruses. The DuraFlo filter in this kit is rated to remove bacteria, viruses and protozoa, so it covers more than a basic hiking filter.
It’s the lower-cost way into team water. If you want years of water from one cartridge, see the LifeSaver version of this package.
What’s in the Emergency Drinking Water Kit
- Two AquaBrick containers, 3 gallons each
- DuraFlo water purification filter
- Hand pump, tubing and caps
- Spigot for pouring
How Much Water Will It Make?
Sagan Life rates each DuraFlo filter for up to 700 gallons. For virus protection, we plan around 550 gallons. At one gallon per person per day, that’s about 550 days for one person, or roughly four and a half months for a family of four. Dirty or cloudy water will shorten filter life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you drink pool water if you filter it?
With this kit, yes, as long as it’s a fresh-water (not salt-water) pool. Sagan Life rates the DuraFlo filter to purify up to 500 gallons of residential pool water, and it removes chlorine and other pool chemicals.
How many gallons does the AquaBrick filter purify?
Sagan Life rates one DuraFlo filter for up to 700 gallons. For virus protection, we plan around 550 gallons, which is about 550 days of water for one person or roughly four and a half months for a family of four.
How is this different from the LifeSaver team package?
Both handle viruses. The LifeSaver Jerrycan purifies up to 5,300 gallons per cartridge and holds 4.9 gallons. This AquaBrick kit costs less, filters fewer gallons, and splits storage into two 3-gallon containers you can carry and stack.
