X2
Our popular X2’s features include a tough, lightweight tubular aluminum frame, generous pockets on the pads on the waist belt, and big spotting scope-sized main side pockets. This pack is in a class of its own, and now we’ve taken it even further into the realm of the unbeatable. |
The X2 is a tough little pack with big pack features. Like oversized compression straps for lashing on a heavy load. Dual hydration compartments. Quick-access pockets for spotting scopes and tripods. And now a rugged IntEx™ metal frame. Other major features include:
|
|
X2 with ARCG ButtBucket |
X2 with A2SS Scoped Rifle Scabbard |
Combine the X2 with our A1SS or A2SS side scabbards for carrying a shotgun or rifle, or with our ARCG ButtBucket™ for on-the fly access to a compound bow.
We field test the X2 with a 100 lb. bag of sand carried in one of our J2SD Spike Camp Duffels, attached to the pack by wrapping the X2’s built-in compression straps around it. It performs extremely well… which informs us of two things; one is that the pack is nicely compatible with the J2SD if you want to move some gear to a spike camp. Two is that this pack will carry a serious load, like an elk quarter, just by banging it onto the front of the pack with 4 quick buckles. Look to the picture at the bottom of this page for proof that it’ll move elk quarters, and take our word for it that it’ll do it very comfortably considering that this is a daypack!

A full mesh back panel, with pads in the essential places, is separated from the main pack by a big air gap. This is a cool-wearing, tight riding little pack that has more capabilities than any book bag you’ll ever find. | |
At right: The X2 opens its wings to unveil two tuck pockets inboard of the zippered hydration pockets. These are perfect for stowing a spotting scope and tripod, or other items you’ll want quick access to. At the bottom of the pack is the FlexChassis, ready to flip forward to use as a seat, or to cradle the bottom of a load that you strap to the front of the pack with its oversized compression straps. |
If you prefer to carry your scope inside one of the padded wing pockets, there’s plenty of room! Shown here, a Nikon Fieldscope takes up only about half of the volume of the pocket. Manfrotto tripod is snugly held in the right side. |
X-project packs are designed for the hunter that wants light and fast mobility. Whether you’re a bow hunter or a gun hunter, once you’ve discovered the ability to move with your hands free from carrying your weapon, it’ll change the way that you think about hunting.
Experience it. It’ll change the way that you hunt.
