Canned Emergency Drinking Water with 30 year long shelf life
Case of 12 cans
Our Canned Emergency Drinking Water with a 30+ year shelf life has become the new disaster preparedness choice for governmental agencies, hospitals, public institutions as well as families and businesses.
This is the type of water you buy once and never worry about it again. Manufactured using an enhanced processing method for canning water, these cans are made for long term storage. Each 24oz can of water has been processed using the same initial stringent specifications approved by the U.S. Military yet more steps have been added for product quality improvement.
Added steps are boiling of the water before canning, then vacuum sealing each can, followed by “cooking” the can to eliminate any bacteria.
Advantages of canned water:
Cans are structurally sturdy and stack extremely well
Cans resist bursting when dropped
Cans resist heat such as flames from fire
The vacuum space inside the cans allow for water expansion during temperature changes such as heat, preventing pressure buildup which could lead to bursting
Cans float in water such as flooding, no need to ‘dive’ for a submerged water supply.
Cans resist rodents
Long 30 or more years shelf life requires no replacement or keeping track of expiration dates
Important Note:
Due to the vacuum sealing process, 28 floz cans are used to hold the 24 floz of water. The extra space is required so that the vacuum sealing machine can draw the air out of the can prior to sealing it and without drawing water during the process.
Some distributors might advertise these cans as 28 oz cans, but the actual water content is 24 floz in each can. This is the only size the company makes and there are no cans that contain 28 floz of water. Also: because the air is removed from the cans, the water will initially have a ‘flat’ taste. That is normal! You can change that through stirring or pouring the water back and forth a few times between two clean containers. This will aerate the water and remove the flat taste. There is no need to aerate the water if you use it for cooking.
