The hurricane juicer was designed specifically to juice wheatgrass and barleygrass, but it will juice other fruits and vegetables, though not as efficiently as grasses. It does a poor job with carrots or other very hard vegetables, but if you shred the carrots beforehand, it do an adequate job on them. The hurricane is a rock solid juicer.
