13A Battery Charger for 48VDC

IOTA’s DLS series converter-chargers provide high-quality DC power wherever a source of 110 volt AC power is available, whether you’re using a generator to charge your battery bank, or want a reliable power conditioner for your RV or camper. DLS converters protect your batteries and DC appliances from power spikes and fluctuations. The DLS-54-13 Battery Charger from IOTA Engineering converts nominal 108-132 AC voltage to 54.4 DC voltage for 48V battery charging. As a battery charger, the unit will maintain the battery, delivering its full-rated current when the battery capacity falls sufficiently low. The voltage is set to deliver its maximum current for the necessary period of time to minimize undue stress to the battery caused by heating of its cells. This helps to ensure the longest possible life of the battery. Over time, as the battery nears its full capacity, the DLS-54-13 will automatically drop the
current, providing a float-charge to the battery to prevent self-discharge of the cells.
The DLS-54-13 provides AC/DC conversion up to 13 amps and features a Dual Voltage Jack, allowing the user to manually select between a nominal charging voltage of 54.4V or a stepped-up charging voltage for faster battery charging.

The DLS-54.4-15 features a Dual Voltage Jack which allows switching from a long-term float charge to a rapid charge by simply inserting the dual voltage plug (included) into the jack.
The DLS-54.4-15 is also available with an IQ Smart-Controller already integrated into the unit, providing "smart-charging" capability and increasing the performance of the DLS.
