Cylinder design dates from the late 1800s and was considered a modern innovation at the time. Exterior crafted of redwood. Hardwood double dasher is removable for cleaning, heavy steel handle, stainless steel hoops and wood drain plug. Carefully fitted but we cannot guarantee them to be 100% watertight. Some leakage may occur. (If you are going to make butter on a regular basis Our Best Churn is more practical.) Holds 3 gallons, churns up to 2 gallons. 13"OD x 14¼"H, 13 lbs.
