Emergency Strobe light that has sophisticated electronic package encapsulated with-in a plastic dome. Pulsing Xenon strobe visible for up to 3 miles, depending on atmospheric conditions. Positive lock sliding on/off switch–easy to use while wearing gloves or in wet conditions. Spring assisted inner base plate helps insure constant battery contact during rough use. Powered by one “D” cell alkaline battery for up to 60 hours of use (not included). 180 degrees focused plastic dome allows for full impact of 300,000 candle power light source. Gasket sealed lens cover makes unit waterproof to 15 feet. Built-in stainless steel locking pin for affixing to PFD, backpack, jacket, etc. Flashes 60-70 times per minute for up to 16 hours, and will continue to flash at diminished rate up to 60 hours depending on strength of battery and outside temp. Good marker for game after dusk. Allows you to find your game and keeps predators away.
