Katadyn Micropur MP1 Emergency Water Tabs (30-pk)

Micropur MP1 water purifier tablets (30 tablets per pack) are for the emergency disinfection of drinking water. When used as directed, the Micropur MP1 tablets make contaminated water suitable for drinking. Micropur MP1 water purifier tablets are for use by campers, hikers, militaries, emegency organizations, relief workers, and anyone who may need to drink water of questionable microbiological quality.

During floods, hurricanes, widespread power outages that may affect the water treatment facilities, and other natural disasters, the Micropur MP1 tablets can be used to provide safe drinking water.

Micropur Emergency Drinking Water Tablets are the only EPA registered purification tablets on the market. Using the same technology applied to municipal water supplies, the Micropur tablet effectively disinfects water from bacteria, viruses, cryptosporidium, and Giardia–so all that’s left is fresh-tasting, safe water.

These tablets are easy to use, lightweight, and convenient for emergency use while traveling, hiking, backpacking, or at your own home. Each tablet can effectively treat 1 liter of water. Please allow 4 hours for treatment to be fully effective.

The Micropur MP1 comes with 30 tablets which will treat 30 quarts (liters) of water

To Use:

Remove one tablet from it’s foil packaging and quickly insert into 1 quart (1 liter) of contaminated water. Allow to react for 4 hours in an area away from sunlight to generate a use solution of 4 parts per million chlorine dioxide. The treated water is now ready for drinking.
